I was introduced to Katy when she shared her story at Momondays back in August. It was a powerful story and I encourage you all to read it for yourself on her website. I’ve followed her personal brand through social media since then and joined one of her insightful online webinars. She is a wealth of knowledge and shares quite a bit in our conversation. I agree wholeheartedly that you need an assistant to help your business grow. Here is what Katy says on her website:

As an entrepreneur myself, I understand how we business owners tend to believe that we’re the only ones who can run our businesses the “right” way. But if we don’t ask for help, we run the risk of losing clients! There simply isn’t enough time in the day to answer phone calls, reply to emails, update Facebook, respond to blog comments, promote the business, attend networking events and still have time left to actually make money. If we don’t, we’ll only end up frustrated and burnt out, like I did. We owe it to ourselves to do only what we do best, and leave the rest to the experts. My own experiences have taught me there’s no shame in that.

So now, I save entrepreneurs time by leveraging my talented support team to maximize their online presence and manage their business operations, empowering them to focus on revenue-generating activities like delivering their services and attracting new clients –without getting burnt out.
